Baudrillard, we’ll miss you

Wanted to give a nod here to Baudrillard and say that we’ll miss that caustic fellow.  I rarely agreed with his theories, but they always provoked interesting ideas (such as chapter 3 of my thesis, which would not exist without his writings on the simulacrum).  Isn’t that what philosophy is really about?  Inspiring interesting ideas?  Challenging how we view the world to push us to some new way of seeing?

We’ll miss you telling us how we don’t exist, sir.
